This policy explains what information NailsbySam Studio (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, how it is used and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
When you send the booking or contact form, we receive what you type in it:
- your name and phone number;
- your email address, if you choose to give it;
- the services, preferred date and time of day you pick, whether you have visited before, and your message;
- whether you agreed to receive text messages about your appointment, if that option is shown;
- the page you sent the form from and, if you arrived from an ad or a social media link, that link’s campaign tags.
To protect the form from spam, the site keeps short-lived, scrambled (hashed) versions of your connection address, phone and email. We never store your IP address in readable form.
How we use it
- to reply to your request and schedule your appointment by text, call or email;
- to send you a copy of your request when you leave an email address;
- to keep a record of your appointments and preferences so we can serve you well;
- to keep the website secure and free of spam.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Cookies and measurement
The website itself does not need cookies to work for visitors. To understand how the site is used and how our ads perform, we may use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel. These tools set their own cookies and receive information such as the pages you view, the device you use and, when you send a form, that a request was made. They do not receive the content of your form. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Meta Pixel runs in limited data use mode.
The map on our contact and home pages loads from Google Maps only when you click “Show map”.
Who we share it with
Your information is handled by the services that run the website: our web host and our email delivery service. They process it only to provide those services. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for as long as they help us serve you, for example to see your appointment history. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or tell us to stop texting you, by contacting us below. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.
