Services
Choosing a service.
What is the difference between Gel-X, builder gel and dual form?
Gel-X adds length with pre-shaped soft-gel tips. Builder gel strengthens your natural nails without added length. Dual form extensions are sculpted with forms for length and a strong structure. Read the full comparison.
What is tap gel?
Tap gel is a firm gel structure applied over natural nails, or over tips when added length is desired.
What is a Russian manicure?
A dry manicure with detailed cuticle work done with an electric file and by hand, for a very clean line around each nail. Hand care is included; gel color is separate.
Which pedicure should I choose?
The Sugar Pedicure is a complete, refreshing pedicure; the Russian Pedicure adds detailed cuticle and heel care; the Relaxing Pedicure is the longest ritual with a 20-minute candle oil massage. See the comparison.
Prices & add-ons
Prices and add-ons.
Where can I see all prices?
The full menu with every price is on the services & prices page.
What does the length add-on mean?
Longer nails add +$10 to any nail system. The length is confirmed during your consultation before service.
Is gel color included?
Gel color is separate on manicures and pedicures: solid +$15, cat eye +$25.
How is nail art priced?
In four tiers by detail, from +$30 to +$80. The final tier is confirmed before service.
Do you remove product from other salons?
Yes, as a soak-off add-on of +$20, booked with your new service.
Aftercare
Caring for your nails.
How do I make my set last?
Wear gloves for cleaning and dishes, use cuticle oil daily, and avoid using your nails as tools. Book your next appointment before the growth at the cuticle becomes large.
What if a nail lifts or breaks?
Contact the studio and avoid picking at it, which can damage the natural nail underneath.
Can I remove gel or extensions at home?
It is safest to have them removed professionally. Peeling or prying off gel takes layers of your natural nail with it.
How do I care for my cuticles in winter?
Minnesota winters are hard on skin. Use cuticle oil once or twice a day, wear gloves outdoors and use hand cream after washing. Our winter nail care guide has more tips.
